One of my favorite frostings. This is perfect for so many different cakes & cupcakes…or just by the spoonful!
Cream Cheese Frosting
1 pound cream cheese, softened
3 sticks (about 150 grams) butter, room temperature
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon pure almond extract
1 1/2 pounds powdered sugar, sifted
In a deep, large bowl cream together cream cheese, butter, and vanilla and almond extracts. Add the confectioners’ sugar and mix until smooth. Use to frost cakes or cupcakes.
Yield: 4-5 cups
