Gâteau à la Crème [BBB]

Gretchen Noelle

My love of food was cultivated early on by my family but has come alive while living in Peru. During the 12 years of living in Lima, Peru, I have also enjoyed numerous trips to other areas of the country. Here on Provecho Peru you will find Peruvian recipes in English, American favorites prepared overseas, news about Peruvian Cuisine and interesting tidbits about life in Peru.

Sorry about the initial spillover, but this one looks perfect…the extra egg washes give it such a lovely golden crust! Hope the vote goes OK for you so that you can celebrate with morning tea and cake.

That looks beautiful, love how high it has stayed when baked in a ring. I remembered that your husband liked sweet bread, glad to see this was a great treat for him as well!

LOVE the idea of filling this brioche with scrambled eggs and bacon!
