Tuesdays With Dorie – Baking With Julia

tuesdays with dorieTuesdays With Dorie was begun by Laurie of Quirky Cupcake as a form of accountability for baking at least once a week using the cookbook, Baking: From My Home to Yours by Dorie Greenspan. When she invited others to bake along with Tuesdays With Dorie, I knew it would be a great opportunity to learn some new techniques and bake some things I might not otherwise be so daring to try.  Although I wanted to complete the challenge of baking everything in the book, I couldn’t keep up due to life.

After the group baked all their way through the first book, they just couldn’t stop there! In February 2012, Tuesdays With Dorie began to bake through Baking with Julia by Dorie Greenspan. It was right about the time I started Provecho Peru up again and knew I needed some challenges to move me forward with baking regularly again. So, when Laurie invited folks to join Tuesdays With Dorie for the next book, I was eager to be part of it.

Tuesdays With Dorie

I am very glad I started spending Tuesdays With Dorie once again. It is a delight to face challenges on a regular basis and it is just a wonderful group to bake with. Would you like to be part? You can start at any time! Grab the book and start to bake!!

Check out some of the delicious recipes I have baked with Dorie!
